1.1 The owner, author, and operator of this website is Advocate Pramod Kumar Bhardwaj (hereinafter referred to as 'the Advocate' or 'Advocate Bhardwaj'), who is a duly enrolled Advocate holding a valid Certificate of Enrolment issued by the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana under the provisions of the Advocates Act, 1961.
1.2 Advocate Bhardwaj is entitled to practice as an Advocate in all courts, tribunals, and quasi-judicial forums throughout the territory of India, in accordance with Section 30 of the Advocates Act, 1961. His primary court of practice is the District Courts at Panipat, Haryana, India, including the Fast Track Special Court (POCSO), Panipat, and Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Panipat.
1.3 Advocate Bhardwaj holds the academic qualification of Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Bradford, United Kingdom. This qualification is in addition to, and does not replace, his Indian legal qualifications and enrollment. He is not enrolled as a legal practitioner in England and Wales, Scotland, or any other foreign jurisdiction. His practice is exclusively limited to Indian law and Indian courts.
1.4 The Advocate's primary areas of professional practice include, but are not limited to: Consumer Protection Law, Criminal Litigation (including POCSO matters), Civil Litigation, Matrimonial Disputes, Cheque Bounce and Negotiable Instruments Act matters, Victim Compensation applications, and general advisory services within Indian law.
2.1 This website has been created and is maintained in compliance with the Bar Council of India Rules, 1975, as amended from time to time, particularly the provisions contained in Part VI, Chapter II thereof, which govern Standards of Professional Conduct and Etiquette for Advocates.
2.2 In accordance with Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India Rules, 1975, this website does not constitute, and must not be construed as constituting, any form of advertisement, solicitation, or enticement of professional work, whether directly or indirectly. The contents of this website are provided for general informational purposes only, to assist members of the public in understanding their legal rights, the Indian legal system, and the general nature of legal processes — and not for the purpose of soliciting clients or professional engagements.
2.3 The Bar Council of India has, through amendments to its Rules, recognised that advocates may maintain an informational web presence setting out their name, address, contact details, and areas of practice, provided that such presence does not cross the threshold of advertising, solicitation, or self-promotion prohibited by the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct. This website is designed and maintained strictly within those permissible limits.
2.4 No claim or representation is made on this website regarding success rates, case outcomes, favourable verdicts, comparative superiority, or any other matter that could constitute impermissible advertisement or solicitation of professional work.

3.2 Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. Legal advice is advice specific to a particular individual's factual circumstances, evaluated against applicable law, by a qualified advocate who has established a professional relationship with that individual. The generalised information on this website does not meet that threshold and must not be treated as legal advice by any visitor.
3.3 Laws and legal procedures in India change frequently by way of legislative amendments, court decisions, rules notifications, and administrative orders. While reasonable efforts are made to keep information on this website current and accurate, no warranty or guarantee is given that any content is current, accurate, complete, or applicable to any reader's specific situation.
3.4 Visitors are strongly advised to seek independent, personalised legal advice from a qualified advocate before taking any legal action or relying upon any legal right discussed on this website.
4.1 Access to, or use of, this website — including reading its content, submitting an enquiry through the contact form, sending an email, or making a telephone call to the numbers listed — does not, by itself, create or establish an advocate-client relationship between the visitor and Advocate Bhardwaj.
4.2 An advocate-client relationship is established only upon: (a) a specific written agreement or formal retainer arrangement duly executed between the parties; or (b) a clear mutual understanding, expressly communicated and accepted, that the Advocate is being retained to represent or advise the client in a specific matter.
4.3 Until such a formal relationship is established, any information communicated to the Advocate through this website, email, WhatsApp, or telephone enquiry does not attract the protection of advocate-client privilege under Section 126 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 (or the corresponding provisions of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023).
4.4 Visitors are accordingly advised not to share sensitive, confidential, or privileged information through general enquiry channels on this website until a formal advocate-client relationship has been established.
5.1 This website is intended exclusively for persons located in India or persons of Indian origin, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) who have legal matters governed by, or arising under, Indian law. The legal services offered are exclusively within the scope of Indian law and Indian judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
5.2 This website does not intend to, and does not, offer any legal services concerning the laws of the United Kingdom, any European jurisdiction, or any other foreign legal system. Visitors located outside India who are seeking advice on foreign law must consult a practitioner qualified in the relevant jurisdiction.
5.3 The legal information on this website relates to the Indian legal system, Indian statutes (including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023; the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012; the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881; the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908; and other Central and State legislation), and practice in Indian courts and commissions.
5.4 This website and its contents do not constitute any form of legal advice or professional service directed at or intended for residents of the United Kingdom or any other non-Indian jurisdiction. This website is neither intended for, nor directed at, any person who would be regulated as a 'consumer' or 'client' under the laws of any foreign jurisdiction, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Legal Services Act 2007, or any related regulations.
6.1 In the interest of full transparency and in accordance with the principles of professional honesty and candour applicable to Advocates under the Bar Council of India Rules, the following material fact is disclosed:
MATERIAL DISCLOSURE: Advocate Pramod Kumar Bhardwaj is currently physically located and residing in the United Kingdom. He manages his Indian legal practice remotely from the United Kingdom, with physical court appearances in India handled through duly authorised representatives, liaisons, and professional colleagues as and when required.
6.2 This arrangement is lawfully permissible under Indian law. The Advocates Act, 1961 does not restrict an enrolled Advocate from being physically located outside India while continuing to discharge professional obligations in Indian proceedings. There is no prohibition on an Advocate practising Indian law remotely, managing correspondence, providing consultations, drafting pleadings and documents, and co-ordinating with in-person representatives in India.
6.3 All legal work undertaken by Advocate Bhardwaj is governed exclusively by Indian law, is subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts and the disciplinary jurisdiction of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana and the Bar Council of India. Any formal professional complaint against Advocate Bhardwaj shall be governed by the Advocates Act, 1961 and the applicable Bar Council Rules.
6.4 Advocate Bhardwaj does not hold himself out as practising the law of the United Kingdom, and no service offered through this website falls within the regulatory framework of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the Bar Standards Board (BSB), or any other United Kingdom legal regulatory authority.
6.5 Clients and prospective clients are advised that while the Advocate himself may be located in the United Kingdom, physical court attendance in India for hearings, arguments, and related procedural steps will be arranged through appropriate professional channels in India, and this will be clearly communicated at the time of engagement.
7.1 Advocate Bhardwaj offers legal consultations and certain legal services through online and digital means, including telephone consultations, video conferencing (via WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms), email correspondence, and online filing of legal documents and complaints.
7.2 Online consultations are legally recognised in India. The Supreme Court of India and various High Courts have, since 2020, recognised and facilitated video conferencing for court hearings, consultations, and proceedings. Online consultations with an Advocate are a permissible mode of professional engagement and do not diminish the professional obligations of the Advocate or the rights of the client.
7.3 E-Daakhil (edaakhil.nic.in) is the official online filing platform of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), Government of India, for filing Consumer Complaints and Appeals under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Assistance with e-filing through this platform is a legitimate and officially recognised legal service.
7.4 Online consultations provided through this practice are subject to the same standards of professional conduct, confidentiality, and professional duty as in-person consultations. All consultations are subject to the Bar Council of India Rules governing professional conduct and fees.
7.5 Communications over WhatsApp, email, and similar digital platforms, while convenient, are subject to the limitations of those platforms' own security, privacy, and data retention policies. Clients are advised not to share highly sensitive documents or information through unsecured channels without first discussing the appropriate mode of communication with Advocate Bhardwaj.
7.6 Recording of consultations (audio or video) by either party without the prior written consent of the other party is not permitted and may attract consequences under applicable law, including Section 66E of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related provisions.
8.1 Information published on this website does not include, and must not be construed as including, any representation regarding professional fees, charges, or tariff. Professional fees are separately discussed, negotiated, and agreed upon at the time of retaining Advocate Bhardwaj's services, in accordance with the applicable Bar Council of India Rules on fees and professional conduct.
8.2 In accordance with Rule 38 of the Bar Council of India Rules, 1975, an Advocate shall not stipulate a fee contingent upon the results of litigation or agree to share the proceeds thereof. No such contingency fee arrangement is offered or implied through this website.
8.3 Any fees quoted or discussed during a consultation are without prejudice and subject to formal agreement. The Advocate reserves the right to decline any case or representation without being required to assign a reason.
9.1 Advocate Bhardwaj is bound by the professional duty of confidentiality under Rule 17 of the Bar Council of India Rules, 1975, which prohibits an Advocate from voluntarily revealing the confidences or secrets of his client. This duty arises upon the establishment of a formal advocate-client relationship and continues after the conclusion of the engagement.
9.2 Information shared through general enquiry forms, emails, or initial contact messages prior to the establishment of a formal advocate-client relationship is received in confidence and will not be voluntarily disclosed to third parties. However, such pre-engagement communications do not attract the full legal protection of privilege under the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 / Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023.
9.3 Basic contact and case enquiry information submitted through this website may be stored and processed for the purpose of responding to the enquiry and, if engagement proceeds, for the purpose of managing the legal matter. Such information will not be sold, transferred, or shared with unrelated third parties without the consent of the person concerned.

No personal data will be shared with or sold to third parties for commercial purposes.

13.2 Persons submitting enquiries are requested to disclose at the earliest opportunity whether they are aware of any circumstances that may give rise to a conflict of interest, including any existing or prior legal relationship with any party likely to be adverse to them in the proposed matter.
13.3 The Advocate reserves the right to decline any matter without assigning a reason, including where a conflict of interest is identified or reasonably apprehended.
14.1 In accordance with Rule 48 of the Bar Council of India Rules, 1975, an Advocate shall not make any misleading or extravagant claims about his skills in relation to cases or legal matters.
